  "Children aren't coloring books.  You don't get to fill them with your favorite colors." means that you can pick your favorite kids out of the bunch. You can't hate all the other kids because they're not perfect or the right one. You have to use all the other colors in the bunch even though it's not your favorite you can't just pick favorites. Children are all made different but they're also made the same, God created them the way that he wanted them to be.

  • I believe this quote means that you can't make children do as you want, and expect them to be good at something that you want them to do. You can’t force a child to do what you want because each child/person has their own strengths and weaknesses. Each person is unique in their own way, yet we are all equal. :)
