Today parents are overprotective of children because :

-There are a lot of risks outside. Afraid of their children being in a dangerous case when alone->always want to protect for their children

-Hard for children to do everything themselves. Want to help children with their acknowledge and experiences-> sometimes also want to control their children to follow in their path-> overprotective

There is a considerable body of opinion which hold that parent is not overprotective :

some disable children really need for help -> they only do what their children definitely can not but others can

However, it is just one surface of the problem. There have already had some organizations which is founded to help those children. Even if there are not anyorganizations like that, it creates a good chance for children to find the solution themselves for their own problems, that lead to their better problem-solving skills to be success in the future.

Today parents are overprotective of children because:

• There is a great amount of social evil which are unavoidable by kids because of the lack of experience

• The young are sometimes threatened with dangerous accidents like motorbike or car crashes.

• The youth are early exposed to virtual network. On the account of this, they are likely to face people whom the kids have no information about. Moreover, they will have an access to various contents. Those contains some which are unavailable to children.

• Some children are not managed to have a sense of independence. This results in the fact that they don't have the ability to take care of themselves.

• News about children's injuries or deaths appear everyday. This makes parents are under a great feeling of worriment that their kids can have the same issues.

Parents today have more knowledge than before and they know exactly what they should do to deal with kids. This is because they have internet, technology devices and sources to know how to educate their children. For instance, a lot of parents choose to attend a class for educating and buy many books to read about education. There is no way they can not understand a simple thing that overprotecting will harm their kids.

I understand the view that many parents now choose to behave easily with their kids so that many people think they are easy with children. But in fact, each kid will have each educational way. Some parents choose to be easy with kids does mean they are overprotective, it is because they know exactly what their kids need.

In conclusion, Parents now, with vast information and knowledge, will not only be not overprotective of children but also understand clearly what the kids want and educate them in the best way.

2.Although parents in the past had protected their chilren in a careful way, parents nowadays are even more overprotective of children than before.There are several reasons, one of which is they do not let their children go out as freely as parents in the past since they afraid of accidents that could harm their children such as traffic accidents, kinapping or drugs.Beside that, parents nowadays trust their children less than before due to their bad behaviours could not acceptable when compared to themself in the past .As a result, they will be overprotective of children to not let them deteriorate themself.Moreover, if parents treat their children too easily, people will think that they dont know how to teach children and it makes them overprotective their children.

Chief of these is that young students is equipped with many necessary skills to protect themselves.

More specifically, in curriculum at school, children have opportunities to cultivate life skills such as taking care of themselves or coping with stress and emotion, and therefore, excessive assistance from parents is not essential for children's development.

I am convinced that parents nowadays do not need to be overprotective of their children because there are various opportunities for the children to learn and grow.

Moreover, prolonged period of parents' protection make children dependent on them, leading to lack of confidence on their decisions. As a result, children combating with problems and difficulties on their own will outperform those who receive much assistance from their parents. These are testaments to unnecessity of excessive parents' protection.
