WIN Time Suggestions by

Here are some ideas of what you can have your students work on during WIN TIME. They can either work in stations or by completing a must-do/may-do list, while you pull a group and provide small group instruction. On the first column you will find ideas for your must do's. On the second column you will find ideas for may do's. On the third column there are ideas for all grade levels to use during rotations. The last 6 columns are by grade level. Here you will find some mini-lessons pertaining to current standards being taught. We will also include some review lessons. You are welcome to add any activities you want to share to your grade level column. We hope this helps!

iReady has many resources that can help plan a successful WIN Time. From reteach lessons, independent practice, to center activities and even enrichment activities. It's organized by concepts so that you can supplement or fill in the gaps for the concepts you are currently teaching during your core instruction. The best part is most lessons require minimal prep! Navigating the program is super simple too. Watch the video above for a quick tour. Reminder: you have access to everything on the teacher toolbox, just DON'T assign assignments digitally. Remember to print resources and make copies or assign on Schoology. If you need any help doing this, feel free to ask. :)

We use several graphic organizers in intervention that support students. They are familiar with these and know how to use them. For example in the lower grades students use number lines or the number chart to add and subtract. In the upper grades, visuals of fractions or decimals truly help. I have added some of the graphic organizers I use in this folder. I will continue to add throughout the year. We also use lots of manipulatives. If you need to borrow any, please feel free to ask.
