The COVID-19 pandemic has dramatically changed the educational landscape of our time. Classes were carried out online instead of the usual face-to-face setting. Reflect on your reaction after learning that this module will be fully online in Week 1 by creating a Padlet page. Do not forget to discuss the positive and negative aspects of your reaction and what did you learn from this.

Task 2 Answer

At first, after hearing the announcement regarding the EDE class exchange online, my first thought was that it was more convenient for me because I get to save energy, money, and time for travelling to class. At the same moment, I was also concerned as before this, other subjects from the previous semester were online. There was some topic on the subject that was confusing for me because some topic is easier for me to understand when in a physical lecture, and it is easier to focus more than it is physical when there aren't any distraction. In the middle of the mixed feelings and confusion after attending the first week of the class, I found some confidence because I got to know that the subject was more project-based language learning. The teaching was great, and I was pleasantly surprised by how engaging and interactive the class was. I'm looking forward to the future classes.

Week 3 and Week 4 Question

A group refers to two or more individuals who have come together with a common objective. The members of a group interact and are interdependent on each other with the view of achieving a particular objective. Tuckman (1965) was responsible for coining the 5 main stages in the process of group discussion. They are also known as Tuckman’s 5 stages of group development. The initial forming stage is the process of putting the structure of the team together.

Week 3 and 4 Answer

As the task given to the group to propose for week 3, we immediately made a WhatsApp group for our group to work it out with the proposal. Still, for 3 to 4 days, we had some trouble communicating because we were new to the group, and everyone was not familiar with us. So, I pushed the group to arrange a Google Meet to discuss the plan so that everyone could contribute to the team. From Google Meet, we were able to get to know each other and discuss the project and proposal. From the meeting, we chose the leader, and we decided on the topic for the proposal. For the VIDEO DOCUMENTARY, we chose Rock Climbing Sport. For the ON STAGE PERFORMANCE, we chose Drama (BAD PARENTING). and we also divided the work for the proposal to be equally among the members so that everyone can equally contribute and have no sleeping partner. Finally, the group leader presented the proposal to our subject coordinator, and he was also interested in the topic. We are happy to come out with a good presentation at the end, although there are a few issues at the starting stage. Thank you

Week 5 Reflection

Ok for week 5 what I learned is about Cohesion. I got to know Cohesion can be achieved by repeating words. Good cohesion is achieved through 5 methods which are repeated words/ideas, reference words, transition signals, substitution and ellipsis. My lecture also showed us some example sentences that use cohesion which I can easily understand. Finally, my lecture gave us a task for week 6 which is we must submit our final draft of the two proposals in full. I also have a few doubts about the next week's task and I ask Dr immediately to clear that out. And that is what I got from week 5

Week 6 Reflection

For week 6 nothing much, from the tips our lecture gave us in week 4, we only focused on correcting the final proposal by dividing the final proposal among all the members and correcting it. We also divided the team to present the final proposal to our lecture so that everyone could contribute to the presentation rather than giving load the a person and presenting it to our lecture. We also successfully presented the proposal to the lecture and our lecturer was happy about it. Thats all for week 6. Thank you

Week 7 Reflection

For week 7, our group had a face-to-face discussion in the UTHM library to make final confirmation on the scene-by-scene for the Video Documentary (Rock Climbing Sport). For the On Stage Performance (Bad Parenting). We also all the roles of the member for the task such as scriptwriter, editor, photographer, actors and many more. I was selected to act as a counseling teacher for the bad parenting task. We also plan to start the shoot in the upcoming days so we can give time to the editor to edit the video.

Week 8 Reflection

Hello. For week 8, we started to work on a Video Documentary-Rock Climbing Sport. As we divided the group, one of the members started the work by interviewing Rock Climbing Coach. He also shoots some videos of the technic in rock climbing sport to put in the full documentary. Other of my friends started to work on the script of the On Stage Performance-Bad Parenting which I'm going to play the role of counseling teacher. We also make a Telegram group to put all the videos in the group so that afterward the editor can easily download and do his work. What have you learned from the assignment now am a great listener cause my friends have so many different ideas and I decided to listen one by one and pick the best one. Other than that we must be very helpful and contribute to the group when they need us to make the group activity in a cooperative atmosphere.

Week 9 Reflection

Between weeks 8 and 9, we as a group planned to meet up to do an introduction video but that week's climate didn't allow us to meet up because every day will be heavy rain. As week 9 takes off I take charge of presenting the group's progress to our lecture. I told him that all was going smoothly and according to plan and all the progress we had made for Video Documentary-Rock Climbing Sport and On Stage Performance-Bad Parenting. Our lecture also gave us some extra time to submit the On Stage Performance video so that the group would not be in a stressful mood and a very thank you to our lecture. After that, I was given the task to record a video and ask a few questions to the public audience about what they felt about rock climbing sport and I finished it successfully and submitted the video to the telegram group which was created in week 8. And we also have fixed a date to meet each other to make the introductiong video in upcoming days

Week 10 Reflection

As we planned last week, our team met face to face for week 10 to make the introduction video for Documentary-Rock Climbing Sport and On Stage Performance-Bad Parenting. I also helped my friends to do the conclusion for the documentary. With the help of all the members in the same week, our editor managed to edit the full documentary and we submitted the video for Documentary in the link given. Then our director divided the time to meet again to shoot for the On Stage Performance as I was given the role of acting as a counseling teacher.

Week 11 Reflection

Between weeks 10 and 11, we met and I was able to act as a counseling teacher. I also finished my part for the acting on the same day. The whole week we plan for the acting and it goes very well. All the members involved were able to participate and show their acting skills. After we finish the shoot, we upload the video to the telegram group and let the editor do his part so for now we are waiting for the result. At this moment I also want to thank my director, editor, and all the members involved in making the video happen. A special thank you to our Lecture for giving us some extra time to plan and deliver the result

Week 12 Reflection

In week 11, after our lecture, which gave us some extra time to plan and deliver the result, we also provided the video to one of our member YouTube channels and submitted it. After that, we noticed that the video had some glitches that could not load properly, so we asked our lecturer if we could resubmit it. He also gave us some extra time to ensure there were no problems with the submission, and I wanted to thank our lecturer again for his kind heart. After that, week 12 started; for week 12, our lecturer made a small class to tell us that we had a presentation in week 13 about the outcome of the 2 video projects. We need to discuss strengths and weaknesses, what we get, what we think to improve, and no of view comments. So that is overall for week 12

For Week 13 some of the group members Including me presented the outcome of the Documentary-Rock Climbing Sport and On Stage Performance-Bad Parenting to the whole class. My lecturer loved the video as he was talking about his interest in rock climbing sport. Its nothing much after that our lecture gave us time for week 14 to submit our reflective video and the peer assessment. So this moment I would like to thank the lecture and my group members for guiding me though out the semester. I never believed that i would learn so many things during the classes
