         <description><![CDATA[<div>1. There is an image of when he used to be a composer for a famous jazz band and loved to act like a famous model, which is posted above, creds to cara<br>2. He contributed to the world in way where his music that he presented made people happy and forget about what was actually happening during that time period, with his music career spreading over a 50-year time span<br>3. Some of the challenges that he faced was that many of the songs that he wrote were meant to be for his band, which made many of his songs unsatisfactory to several listeners, until they found out the true meaning behind the lyrics<br>4. A quote that was very influential to his life and sums it up is, "Love is supreme &amp; unconditional, like it is nice but limited" which means that the things that you love doesn't last forever, and that you should enjoy what you love doing as much as you can<br>5. They are a hero because the actions he did to become such a world-known composer &amp; the steps he used to get to where he was made him very influential and his music made people forget about the dark times during the great depression and people remember that there is still beauty and hope for the future, and that everything will be okay.</div>]]></description>

At the end of Anderson's European tour, she was signed to a contract for fifteen concerts in the United States</li><li>Victory over racial discrimination.</li><li>On December 30, 1935, she opened her American tour at New York's Town Hall. The program was typical for Marian Anderson, consisting of songs by Handel, Schubert, Giuseppe Verdi, and Sibelius as well as several black spirituals.</li><li>The DAR denied Anderson use of their Constitution Hall in Washington, D.C. for an April concert. First Lady Eleanor Roosevelt resigned from the DAR in protest, and the U.S. government placed Lincoln Memorial at Anderson's disposal.  </li></ul><div><br><br></div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>He was a man who had many political professions and he helped African Americans.<br><br>William contributed to the world because he  was the first African American to serve as Governor of the United States Virgin Islands, as a federal judge and as a federal appellate judge.<br><br>In 1933 William Henry Hastie became one of the first African American members of the Franklin Roosevelt Administration.  He was appointed the President’s race relations advisory.  Later he was given the post of assistant solicitor for the Department of Interior.  While working for the Department he wrote a constitution for the Virgin Islands, an American territory.<br><br>Quote     ¨History informs us on the past mistakes from which we can learn without repeating them.
