I came to find that while the two are the same story, they put forward two very different feelings for the audience. The movie feels like a story between some ragtag group of rebellious teenagers but the book is much different. A much more personal account is what is shown in the book and you can definitely see the true feelings of the character that didn't necessarily come through in the film. Due to my interest in the Broadway musical, Hamilton, I've become intrigued by the history of the Revolutionary War as well as the life of Alexander Hamilton. I enjoyed every bit of seeing Eliza and Alexander's love story unfold.
