The claim I have about the gas in the bubble are made when the the two powders collage or something like that in the water that makes a reaction that makes the bubbles which make the gas in the bubble.

It is a different substance because if it were to be any of the substance then you would only need one substance to create gas bubble. For example if the substances were baking soda , citric acid and water then you would only need one of them to create a gas bubble. But you need all of them to create gas bubble which leads to a chemical reaction. Another example is look at the substances more closely is you notice they are all different thing like citric acid is a solid and baking soda and water is a liquid and gas bubble is a gas.

I can’t be made out of the starting materials. Evidence: The water is a liquid and the citric acid and baking soda are solids so it can’t be any of the starting substances as neither is a gas. I used the Using computational thinking SEP by using thinking to know the gas isn’t part of the starting substances.
I used the Energy and Matter CCC by knowing the states of matter and using critical thinking to figure out that the gas can’t be a staring substance.

The gas was not created out of the starting substances. My evidence for this was that in the beginning the water was a liquid and the baking soda was a solid. The materials of the solution don't change for one another there fore the gas was not created by the starting substances.

The gas is not the same substance. At room temperature, none of these could produce gas themselves, in order to make gas they have to combine. Therefore, the gas is a different substance.

when the baking soda and acid mixes it creates the gas bubbles. we know this becvause when we were testing the ingrdeint we found out that the baking soda when mixed with the acid does make the gas bubbles. But when i say acid i mean all acid because the lemon mix had acid in ti and that also made a fiz(a small one)because it hade some acid in it.

The gas can't be made of the the starting materials. Water is a liquid and the citric acid and baking soda are solids. It cant be any of these becuase gas can't be created with from just solids and liquids.
