For example if the substances were baking soda , citric acid and water then you would only need one of them to create a gas bubble. But you need all of them to create gas bubble which leads to a chemical reaction. Evidence: The water is a liquid and the citric acid and baking soda are solids so it can’t be any of the starting substances as neither is a gas. I used the Using computational thinking SEP by using thinking to know the gas isn’t part of the starting substances.
I used the Energy and Matter CCC by knowing the states of matter and using critical thinking to figure out that the gas can’t be a staring substance.

I think it is baking soda and citric acid because i did some research and  found out when you mix the two substance so i did it to make sure and it was correct so baking soda and citric acid make the gas.

It’s the baking soda and water that will probably mix well to make bubbles evidence that support this claim is that when you mix it with baking soda sometimes it will dissolve and create bubbles with water so baking soda + water.
