I’m very excited to be your senior intern from the Academy of Future Teachers at St. Augustine High School. I would like to thank you for giving me the opportunity to learn from you in your classroom. It is an honor to work with you and I look forward to learning from you.

    Being in Teaching Academy has allowed me to have first hand experience within the education system, providing these experiences through service learnings to elementary and middle schools, working with 1st, 4th and 6th-8th graders. 

     The time allotted for my internship is Thursday and Friday during 1st period. My first visit will be on Friday, September 9th, and my last visit will be Thursday, April 11th, arriving at 9am and concluding at 10am.

      Within the first month my internship, I will simply observe you teach and I will have an observation assignment to complete. Some of the assignments may require that I ask you a few questions about your teaching style. After that, I can work with students in small groups, prepare materials for lessons, make bulletin boards or PowerPoints, or any other task you might give me.
