         <description><![CDATA[<div>Great Britain and the American Colonists were close together. Since the land was close together it made it easier to protect. Great Britain and American Colonists were also boarding the ocean. Since the British Navy ruled the ocean having access to said ocean was an advantage&nbsp;<br>The lack of unity in the colonies was a disadvantage to Great Britain and the Colonists. With several different viewpoints and arguments over the viewpoints it made tension high in the colonies. </div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>One advantage was that the French gained allies with the Native Americans. The Native Americans had extensive knowledge of the land and how to fight. Another advantage was that the French were under one cohesive government. The government could make a fast decision and act quickly when necessary. </div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>George Washington was one of the leaders in the French and Indian War. In 1754, the fight broke out and one-third of his soldiers died. They tried to rid the French of America, but were outnumbered and defeated.&nbsp;<br>Another leader, Pontiac, allied with the French. He supported them throughout the war against the British.<br>Louis-Joseph de Montcalm was the French leader in the French and Indian War. He took over as commander in chief in 1756.</div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>The main turning point of the French and Indian war was the  Battle of Quebec, which booted the French out of Canada. This war also gave the British a great amount of land due to the signing of the Battle of Quebec. This land provided leverage for the British and in the end pushed them to victory.</div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>Names: William Pitt took control over the war efforts and poured lots of money into it in order to beef up the military. George Washington came across a group of French military and started the first battle of the French and Indian War.&nbsp;<br>Results: Britain gained control over Canada and the land East of the Mississippi<br>Dates: 1757 William Pitt took control over the war efforts for Britain. His efforts resulted in the French starting to lose battles and the British winning battles. The British then ultimately won the War of Quebec and signed the treaty of Paris with the French in 1763.&nbsp;</div>]]></description>
