How can I present information in ways that reach all learners?

For some young learners with different learning abilities, or who are learning English, it can be hard to present information to them in a way that they are able to grasp it. To help them, I can provide visuals to go along with a lesson, such as a picture or a video, that can capture their attention and associate the image with what I want them to understand.

Using a Video

Having a video that goes a long with a topic really benefits students who are either:

a) visual learners

b) English-language learners

For example, if a class of kindergarteners were learning about the life cycle of a pumpkin, it might benefit them to watch a timelapse of a plant growing from seed to pumpkin. That way they can see how the plant actually grows.

Using a Picture

You can also hang a picture or poster up in the classroom and refer back to it as needed for the lesson!

Going Outside

One thing that I had come up with was taking the students outsiude fore a lesson. Sometimes, especially after a long day, the students can lose their attention span therefore sometimes taking them outside can help!
