How did you attract your audience?

I attracted my audience by appealing to the interests in music and by also using contrasting colour schemes to attract attention. I also used different photography techniques to help the picture on the front cover catch as much attention of the audience as possible. I also used a large bold font for the title on the front cover to grab the audience’s attention and I also used a vibrant colour scheme draw them in further.

Another way I have attracted my audience is by cutting out all unnecessary pieces of information and only including information that my readers will find interesting and useful. I did this particularly with my contents pages as I feel this is the second most important page to engage the reader, as this is usually the first page they turn to if they have a look at the magazine. By doing this I was able to eliminate some of the useless content that many magazines include which often put people off buying and reading music magazines.
