Seymour Chwast -

During this project I learned how to use the drawing tool in photoshop and how to manipulate words differently which would be help for future projects. This was pretty easy because I have worked with photoshop several times before. Trying to repeat it was a little bit hard because not used to trying to draw with the Macbooks. I really liked this graphic designer because this is the first one i’ve seen to have an almost cartoonish look with all of his designs.

Pattern Making

I really liked this because we got to learn different ways to morph letters. I have really gotten used to using photoshop and it has gotten way easier then when I first used photoshop. I really would like to do this project again because it’s a cool project and you can make very unique designs.

Donut Design

I really liked this project and I was able to learn how to use different tools then what i’m used to using. I would really love to do this project again. My favorite one was the beach themed donut because it looks pretty accurate and was able to use fx that I haven’t used.

Logo Parody

At the beginning of this project it was hard because I had no idea what I was going to do and I couldn’t think of any logo to do. After being able to find logos I could do everything became easy and I was able to do them quickly. The thing I struggled with the most was trying to do letters that matched the original font. My favorite one has to be the starbones because it was the one that came out the best and took more time.

This project was a lot easier then the logo parody project and I definitely had more fun. It was easy to find the fonts but it was a little bit hard trying to find pictures that would go with the category. My favorite one was the sports logo because out of all of the logos it looked the coolest.

Flyer

This flier has in my opinion great balance and it’s my favorite out of the two. It also would stand out more because it is a complete different color then the school colors. I followed the color scheme and made sure everything was in the same font. With more practice, would be able to make more eye pleasing fliers.

This project was fun and really got to use different tools then what i’m used to and I would probably not like to do this project again because it was a real struggle trying to find good quality photos and not having the teacher here for help because there was some things I didn’t know what to do and had to end up skipping or doing something else.

With this project I had no idea what I was doing. The hardest thing about this project was trying to mash up two different topics together and sticking to a color scheme. I would deferently like to retry to see if there was any better ways that I could have done this project.

Movie Poster Parody

The project went pretty well for me. A lot of it was quick selecting items and moving them around and change the colors. The only thing I struggled was picking out the ideas and then trying to get certain photos for it. If I was to redo this project I would probably do others that aren’t Horror themed and try a different look of posters.

KHS Grad Ticket

I loved being able to design a ticket for graduates. The only thing I struggled with was trying to add more detail but still stay in the style of the ticket. Something I would like to redo on this project is defiantly add more detail to it even if they are small details.

Food Truck Logo

With this design I wish that I spent a little more time on it but I still think it came out great. I would love to do this project again to see if I can try to do different one . Something I would also like to do is see what other types of logos I could create with different trucks. Sadly my design wasn't detailed enough and it didn't get chosen.

I would love to redo my design because with this design I had no idea what to do. I had no idea what I was going with and in the end it didn't end up how I would liked it to look. And in the end my design didn't get chosen.

Food Truck Menu

Out of the entire project designing the menu was my favorite part because it was more simple and you get to make up the food options. Although next time I hope that i'll be able to create some because my teammate created all of them without me. Sadly my menu design didn't get chosen either.

DIY Photoshop Week

I learned how to manipulate photos and how different effects can really change the photos. My favorite one was the Glow/Fire Effect. The easiest was the photo glitch and the pixel sorting. The hardest one was the glow/fire effect. There were way more steps and ticks and the other ones were more simple and took less time. I really love DIY weeks because you get to do your own things and you get to learn things differently then how you would learn in class.

I really loved GD and so far it has been my favorite class this year. You get to learn so many different things about editing photos. My favorite project out of all of the projects has to be the DIY projects. Mainly because of the freedom and you get to learn cool different effects. I would defiantly love to do this class again and see if there is other things I can learn about Photoshop.
