Hello everyone, welcome to College! My name is Gannon. It's nice to meet all of you and be apart of this community. I am from Traverse City, but I moved around a lot as a younger kid. Mainly around the Upper Peninsula, My family of 4 Hitch-hiked down to Traverse City, many of those times before the age of 12. I have made a lot of mistakes in my life, but its best to know that I have learned from them and have grown as a person. I currently live in Traverse City, Michigan. I attend Traverse City High School, and NMC as a Dual Enrolled young adult. Also, I love country, Exclusively Jason Aldean, and Luke Bryan <3

To truly thrive one must first realize that Learning is a constant, not a start-stop Process. You are always learning. Procrastination during learning is very local, as it happens with almost every individual, but can be countered by using strategies like teaching others. Thriving can be done by simply not cheating, procrastinating, and managing you're time. Cheating and plagiarism, can and WILL lead to punishment by the college should you get caught. Though you should never cheat. Even if you are deprived of sleep, or have a fear of failure. Just try you're best :D

Specifically a smart goal compared to a goal that is not described as such is that a smart goal is S(Specific) M(Measurable) A(Achievable) R(Relevant) T(Timely). If you have a goal that can be broken into those 4 main concepts, its a smart goal. However, not every goal has to be a smart goal. So don't stress -_-

When you run an experiment and land on an error, you have not failed, you have just found a dead end in the road. Simply turn around, and choose another path. You never fail unless you give up. Running experiments also helps you learn, and help you're memory and management skills. Its a good idea to run experiments that follow you're time management schedule, so you are getting that double-downed learning experience.
