She explains her experience during her gap year. She says her gap year was a terrible experience but she learned a lot on herself. Indeed, she discovered what she likes or not. It wasn’t like in her dreams but she discovered some serious life lessons.
Moreover, the third document is a picture which represents a feeling indicator with a pointer. It’s a kind of degree of feelings and emotional. It’s maybe to show if the travel was good or not. We can guess that it’s difféerents points of view after a gap year.
To conclude, the both documents are linked: they represent the difféerents opinions about a gap years but the first document shows a most more negative opinion that than the second. Indeed, Annie says that her gap year was a terrible experience but it was enriching but the pointer in the second picture points the side with positive feelings. She went on a trip abroad during her studies, which disappointed her. To learn to speak Spanish she decideds to go to Spain, as she wanted to earn money and meet people. Her trip was catastrophic because she did not learn Spanish and she only met one person. In the newspaper article « the Guardian » punlished published on 4 spetember September 4th 2015 she gives advice for people people who want to do the experience advice. For her il is necessary to know how to speak the language to integrate in the country. The gap year can have flaws. , She takes the example of a trip to France where the student had to support a turbulent class. In her testimony she finds this kind of trip is not interesting.
To conclude, these documents are the story of a single experience that was bad.
The common point picture (?) is that two documents talk about emotions, the way to talk about it is different but the objective is identical.
