That is actually true but it’s also meant to slow you down. If you’re rushing through a store to pick up a few things, some free food gets you to stop, stand still for a moment, and look around. This increases your chances of spotting something you want to buy.

In my opinion, the other trick that makes me spend more money is every mall has food courts usually on the top floor of the building. These food courts are strategically placed on the top to make sure that customers cross by the food courts. For my exprience,this tricks happen when I go to convenience store in 7 Eleven. I'm sure that people know, 7 Eleven sells the foods and drinks at expensive prices. Beside that,the foods and drinks that sells there are not available in other convenience stores and it's limited. I'm a big fan of instant noodle, so I have try all the instant noodles that sells at 7 Eleven including Daebak Ghost Pepper Noodle,the most spiciest noodle in the world and my favourite instant noodle brand is Samyang. One day, I went to 7 Eleven to buy topup but at that time, the counter keeper is not in the counter because she's going to toilet. So, I went to the shelves that sell instant noodle and I saw Samyang was already realeasing new instant noodle. It was carbonara cream and cheese. I wanted to buy it but the prices were really expensive so I was thinking for long time and I decided to buy it even though at first I came there to buy topup only.

I consider the other trick they use is a advertisement in front of shopping mall. This is because that advertisement will make me want to buy that item at their shopping mall because it looks interesting, branded and cheap. I think , the trick I noticed was the ice cream aisle . Retailers usually put it close to wet stuff , so anyone who wants to buy fish or chicken , they have to cross the aisle. In my perspective, the retailers will play music inside the shopping mall to boost our mood so that people will having fun while shopping. It will put us in a better mood and make us spend more. They will play a peaceful song so that we will take our time longer because we felt peace. I think the other trick retailers use is a Maze-Like store layout. The retailers know the more time we spend in the store, the more money we'll likely to spend. In my experience, i noticed the tricks that they use for not to put the window is very useful.  Me and my family went to the mall for the shopping at the evening after the Zohor until ~ we don’t realize that Maghrib is coming 😂.. For me, in the mall is same but outside the moon is coming out 😌
