         <description><![CDATA[<p>While a vegan diet offers many benefits, such as better heart health, a healthy weight, a lower risk of cancer, and a positive environmental impact in the short and medium term, in the long term, there may be nutrient deficiencies, an increased risk of mental illness, intensive land use, and possible deforestation, because the type of agriculture used to produce vegan foods is not sustainable over time, according to research conducted by <a rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow" href="http://www.americanostrichfarms.com">www.americanostrichfarms.com</a>.</p><p>Our bodies are designed to have a diverse, omnivorous diet. Early humans ate fruits, leaves, roots, nuts, seeds, insects, and meat; so, following a vegan diet may not be the healthiest option over time, and maybe isn't the best way to save the planet.</p>]]></description>
