My husband and I are trying to start a family, but I have always thought of myself as one to work even after I have kids. I have a plan to work from home and have thought about it many times. I am just waiting for the right moment to approach my boss about it... </div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>What I agreed with most here is that performance appraisals should be done as needed, rather than a scheduled, redundant thing. I completely see the value and importance of a performance appraisal for growth. However, I can see where they become something that really isn't doing much but wasting people's time. At my job, we do performance appraisals every 4 months. Now, during the beginning of someones employment, every 4 months is great. They are still learning and developing into a "rock star", as we say. However, I have some employees that have been there for years and are just plain fabulous. Having a review for them every 4 months just feels like a waste of my time and theirs. I end up having nothing to say but "keep doing what your doing." So I do agree on doing them as needed depending on the individual being reviewed and the position. </div>]]></description>
