Self-grading quizzes (using Google Forms) that easily transfer to Aeries. 

Creating "digital worksheets": using document templates that students can easily fill in and submit (simple to grade, too) 

Posting announcements and to-do lists in Stream 

Scheduling assignments to post and close at certain times (this way, I can create assignments in any order, but make sure students see them at the right time--e.g. I create a quiz on Tuesday afternoon that automatically goes lives at 8 AM on Friday). 

Posting student resources as materials for easy access (remember: a lot of students have probably lost those great notes you gave them last month)

Posting exit/entrance tickets and informal surveys (using Forms and/or Questions) 

Adding private, fast comments to student writing/work 

Embedding content like YouTube videos (YouTube is not blocked for them if it's on Google Classroom, in my experience--although that may not matter now)

Also, not really a "tool," but it's very, very easy to grade work and automatically move points over to Aeries!

Google Sites: create a simple website. I used one recently to serve as a "home base" for a link-heavy activity. 

Docs/Slides/Sheets: happy to help you troubleshoot or explore other features (e.g. making your tables behave in Docs, creating diagrams using Drawings, duplicating a slide so you don't constantly retype, adding conditional formatting to sheets, etc.) 

Adding extensions to Chrome: there are about a million extensions you can add to help your Chrome browser do all kinds of things. My favorites include Grammarly (free grammar-checker), Read/Write (multiple assistive technology for reading/writing, including a dyslexia setting), and a URL shortener to create short links.

Nearpod: interactive slides that students can view at their own pace

Padlet: bulletin-board style interactive site, good for q&a and digital collages (like this!) 

GoSoapBox: super simple forum for student questions/comments. Can be used live or student-paced. 

Quill: more for English teachers. Grammar practice lessons and activities that integrate very seamlessly--even connects to your grade book.
