It's a great resource to come back to later as well.<br><br>Suggestion - Share out the reading in your group and teach each other through discussion.</div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div><strong>In Asia</strong>, there is a cultural stigma around taking care of dementia patients according to which caregiving activities are the responsibility of women. </div><div><br></div><div>In South-asian cultures, familism (the ideology that puts family as the priority)  is a core cultural value, referring to a strong commitment to the family, therefore their first approach to dementia would be to take care of them by themselves at home. </div><div><br></div><div>The relationship between caregiving and perceived familial duty is common in such societies. Family caregiving is considered a natural aspect of family life, even when the initial relationship has never been good. </div>]]></description>

This translates to almost 78,000 people as of 2017. And in 2018, there were around 82,000 people suffering from dementia in Singapore.</h1>]]></description>
