The second organization I picked is brotherhood of successful scholars (BOSS). BOSS is a dynamic organization established to assist males excels academically, socially, culturally, professionally, and in the community. My thoughts on joining this organization are high also because it targets African American and Latino males.

 

The Third organization I picked is Philosophy club at ISU. The philosophy club is a student organization, which discusses a multitude of philosophy issues through readings, films, and more. My thoughts on joining this organization are low because I really don’t know much about it.

 

The second abroad is Universidad Veritas, which is in Costa Rica. At Universidad Veritas you will enjoy studying on a tropical campus at an affordable cost. Your ISU cumulative GPA have to be a 2.75 or higher. Also it says living with a host family is the easiest way for students to experience Costa Rican and practice their Spanish.

 

The third abroad is Florence University of the arts, which is located in Italy.  The classes are located in historical places using updated technology. You have to have a 2.75 GPA or higher.

 

I have never considered study abroad because I have never heard anything until now. Now that I did some research on study abroad, I wouldn’t mind doing a study broad.

2.     Sycamore express- provides info and assistance with academic options, billing and finances, financial aid, graduation, registration and scholar ships.

3.     Cunningham Memorial Library- it provides library info for distance students, distance learning LibGuide, and library research guide.

4.     Career Center- they offer advising on resumes and can perform mock phone interviews, and will assist in post degree employment search. 

5.     Time management tools- is helpful to schedule time to work on your online course, as if were face-to-face course meetings at regular times.

1.     Accounting- There is a lot of business classes and economic classes that you have to take for this major. A couple of careers for accounting are Assurance services, tax and financial planning, financial reporting, Treasury, and FBI.

2.     Business education-  required courses for this major also has to take a bunch of business and econ classes. A couple of careers for business education are teaching business courses in Indiana junior high, middle and high schools.

3.     Financial Services- for this major you have to take quite a few financial classes, and a lot of business classes. A few careers for this major are opportunities that are available to ISU graduates with knowledge and ability in accounting, banking, finance, insurance, risk management, and securities.
