It all started on a sunny Saturday morning when my friends and I decided to explore the old abandoned train station outside the city. We had heard strange stories about it—some people said it was haunted, others said they saw lights at night. Curious and full of energy, we packed snacks, flashlights, and our phones, then took a short hike to the place. At first, everything seemed normal… until we heard a loud bang coming from inside one of the train cars.

Suddenly, the door of the train car slammed shut behind us. We screamed and ran toward it, but it was locked! Then, the lights on our phones started flickering, and we heard a strange whispering sound. It wasn’t the wind — it sounded like a voice calling our names. We stayed close together, trying to stay calm, but the tension grew. That’s when Julia pointed to the wall and said, “Look! There’s writing…”

On the wall, someone had written: “Find the golden key before sunset… or stay forever.” We were shocked. Was it a joke? A game? Or something more serious? We decided to split up to look for the key, staying in pairs to feel safer. As we explored deeper into the station, we found old suitcases, dusty seats, and broken clocks all pointing to 3:33 PM. That gave us chills. Then, Mateo shouted, “Guys! I think I found something!”

Mateo held up a small golden key he had found under a loose floor tile. We ran back to the locked door and tried it. Click! The door opened slowly, and bright light came in. We rushed outside, breathing with relief. As we looked back, the station lights suddenly turned off. No more whispers, no more bangs. We didn’t speak a word on the way home — but we all knew that we had just lived a story we’d never forget.
