You can ride a bike, stand up paddle, go to the festival, rock climbling and go to the beach. Wonderfal city, are lots of landscapes beutiful, but is much violent. I'd highly recommend going to the Copacabana beach. The turistc places you can go there are so much beautiful, like Cristo Redentor e Pão de Açúcar! The new attraction in Rio is the Museu do Amanhã, there are incredible things to do and see there, is really interesting!
In February there is an amazing festival considered the best of the world. Carnival is old culture in Brazil when people go to street parade and dance while watch a beautiful samba school parade. 
We recommend Rio de Janeiro, beacouse is a beautiful and magnificent city!

My friends and I usually play tennis on the beach. This is very fun. Beyond we can swim, walk and admire the sun too. You and your family really should do this activities when you go to Rio de Janeiro.
