2. Animator (Games)- In order to be a games animator i have discovered that i would need an animation-related degree, including games animation. When applying for an animation job i would need to demonstrate my work through a portfolio and/or showreel. I won’t need a specific qualification to be a QA Tester, although some programming knowledge or experience would be beneficial to the job. The most important thing for this job is to be an avid game player. I would need to be able to demonstrate a detailed knowledge of the games industry, including the different platforms and games styles and genres on the market.

4.Camera Operator (Portable Single Camera)

The job of a camera operator is to support the role the director of photography and the director with shot composition and development on high budget productions.

I do not need a specific qualification to work in this role. Instead, you would usually learn the practical skills required through hands-on experience on the job. That said, continuing professional development is vital, especially as camera technology changes rapidly.

Basic stills photography, which develops visual and composition skills, also provides a useful starting point in training for this role.

Advertising and marketing companies are on a fixed term basis as in they finish the job when the client is satisfied and is happy to pay for the product or project that has been created, Whereas print can tend to be a freelance job where a writer will only be called up if they have a story or article worth publishing. This is a major drawback as an advertising and marketing company will be aware of the deadline and amount of clients they will be working for whereas a freelancer will be in constant doubt of when they will be needed.
