wine]]> 2018-08-27 17:59:22 UTC https://padlet.com/tamara_jones1/zrdf6o987r6p/wish/275636139 tamara_jones1 https://padlet.com/tamara_jones1/zrdf6o987r6p/wish/1618891446 According to the Leadership Challenge book, leaders who consistently used the Five Practices are more effective than leaders who only use them half of the time.  Being effective should be the goal of any leader..  As an effective leader,  I believe that agendas are more apt to move forward with greater success.  In the interim, sustainable relationships are being built with constituents as they create a shared goal along with the leader.  As leaders allow input from team members, this enables them to act to accomplish the shared vision.  To continue to see progress in getting the needed results, the leader has to always model the way by being consistent in showing his/her team members that success follows consistency. Also, encouraging the heart by acknowledging successes from individual team members enables further action. 

 All of these practices go hand in hand.  Omitting one could produce disengagement which is not a favorable result.

2.  How do you get people to believe in your message?

On a very basic level, to get people to believe in your message you have to be believable. You have to present the message in such a way that appeals to peoples core beliefs, be honest about the pros and cons, however, present the message enthusiastically.
