Observation:  Personalized.  Prompts you if you wait too long.  Very interactive. Higher degree of agency within the exercise.  I didn't readily see the CLICK ME on the computer.  Non verbal "reading".

The bouncing character, Tab, keeps the students engaged. There aren't any letters presented in this part, only sounds. There's a mouth, Marvin the Mouth, that allows the students to see what the teeth, tongue, and lips do to create the sounds...

Comments/Questions: 
-While taking the ISIP, I noticed that the assessments are timed, with each question allotting 5 seconds for answers. How was the timing  determined and what is the reasoning for the 5 second timeframe?
-I noticed after some of the assessments, a progress scale is shown (with a green bar). At the end of the ISIP, stars are awarded. How are the progress scale and stars used to measure a student's level (i.e. the more stars awarded, the better a student did on the ISIP)?

-I agree that in today's world, technology in the classroom is both necessary and critical. In the first segment, which was a space-like scenario, I had to aim and shoot at the correct word that matched the word that was spoken. Basically it was a paint ball gun and four words would appear, and it was ask you to click on the word that was being said. When you clicked on the correct word it would splatter and acknowledge the correctness. When you clicked on the incorrect word it would light up red and notify you of it being incorrect.
