SIEP DAY 1🌸

As we know all students of the University Malaysia Kelantan have to do Siep every year. I am  2nd year student was assigned to do Siep 2.  I choose the Azmi fried Chicken Restaurant located at Lot PT 2736, Mukim Jeli, Tepi Sungai, Jeli, Kelantan to complete my Siep. For the first day, I was interviewed by manager, Sir Mohd Aman bin Nor.  He explained the work that I had to do carefully, and then he introduced me to all the workers to get to know each other.  After that, Sir Aman directed me to meet with his employee called Kak Na to guide me in work  for the whole day. Kak Na told me to complete all the order by MRSM Jeli. They are order 100 pack chicken rice. I and other staff start make, packing the chicken rice to complete customer order well.

SIEP DAY 2🌸

On 15 July it was a second day I in Siep. Azmi fried chicken start operation at 11.30 a.m untill 11.00 p.m and the half hour before open and close are opening and closing. I came at 11.20 a.m. Sir Aman ask me to do opening with other staff. I was assigned to sweep the floor and clean also tidy all the area Azmi fried Chicken. I also learned to do the preparation before the business start operation from the staff. After that I was assigned to do the preparation opening without any help from the other staff but guide by the assistance manager Kak Asyikin. I think is it challenge to myself to do the best. They are teach me well and carefully.

SIEP DAY 3🌸

Today is the 3rd day of siep. I came 11.18 a.m to do the opening before business operation start such as sweeping the floor, mopping and do all the preparation before start the business. After that assistant manager ask me to do customer service. For the first I was assigned this work, assistant manager briefing me breifly about how to do the customer services. What I learned from her, customer services is provide service for tge customers and try to deliver an excellent services to customers like always give a smile even not in good mood and about work I was assigned to clean and tidy the table also tidy the dishes well and sweep the table. I also need to sweep the floor and mopping the floor if got any dirty on the floor. After that I need to wash all the dishes that customers have used. I think the work I do today is a bit tiring but this is one of my new experiences and knowledge. By the way, this is being a nice day for me. 😇

On 17 July it was 4th day I in company to complete Siep. As you know I will come at 11.20 a.m to do opening like do some preparation before the business start. On 12.00 p.m the business operation start smoothly. After that assistant manager ask me to do work at the back such as wash all the dishes and also  wipe the dishes, bowls, spoons, forks and glasses. Assistant manager ask me the twice because she don't want i feel uncomfortable with her when her ask me to wash many dishes, spoon, fork also bowl. However I can accept that because I really love to challenge myself do the variety work and also I want show them that I can do the multi tasks. Anyway that day was be a good day for me.

SIEP DAY 5🌸

Today is 5th day I was in here. As usuall I was attend at 11.20 a.m. After I and other staff complete the opening before start business. I got the new task from manager that call Sir Aman. He ask me to do the same work as yesterday which is at the back but today is a little bit different. He told me that I should make a drink to customers. Then he call his staff to teach me how make a drink tasty. The staff teach me carefully, she told me what drink that I shulould make, how to make it and how much ingredient that I should put in each drink. The staff told me to make a drink faster so that the customer not waiting for a long time. At first I was a bit clumsy and slow in preparing drinks.  After a few times I prepared the beverage and it became more efficient and faster.  After that I cleaned up the drink-making area on the table after finishing make the drinks to the customer. On 19 July 2019 I was came 11.20 a.m to prepare many things before start the business. I can do smoothly all the thing in opening because since the first I was in here it was be my routine. After that, I was assigned by assistant manager to do a new task. She tell me today I got the different task and she hope I will do the best. Assistant manager ask me to lifting bundle of drink can such as lychee drink can, chrysanthemum drink can, grass jelly drink can, pepsi drink can, cola drink can and boxes of mineral water. For tge first time I was assigned this task I fell like I dont know either I can do or not. But I will try my best. I do carefully and I use my whole energy to complete the work. After that, I need to arrange all the drink can in the chiller. I think this day was be a tiring day for me but its still fun and good. After finishing arrange all the kind of drink can in chiller, I was assigned by manager to be online marketing position. I need make a poster to promote this restaurant in media social like facebook. However, I was assisted by the manager and taught by the manager . I was grateful because I learned something new and I got new experience today because I do a job that I never do before. I think it was been the best experience to me.

Today is the 7th day. I hope everything will be fine. I was came at 11.20 a.m. As usual I and othe staff do the opening and make some preparation before start the businesses. After we complete everything for opening, I'm going ask Sir Aman waht kind of work that I should do today. Sir Aman ask me to learn something new which is being backup crew. Before I was assigned backup crew position I need to learn how to make and finishing all the meal. Sir Aman told his staff to teach and guide me when  I do the preparation for a meal. First the staff teach me how to make chicken porridge. I want to tell a simple step to make a chicken porridge. What I learned from the staff is first, put 2 cups rice briefly rinse with water and then pour 10 cup of water to boil it for half hour. After that put the cut ginger in. For a dish, pour 2 cups in bowl. For garnishes, put the chicken breast cut on top of chicken porridge, Chopped green onions and lastly sesame oil. On 20 July 2019, usually I came at 11.20 a.m but today I came a little bit early when I arrived at Azmi Fried Chicken no one there. I waiting for them in a car for 5 minute and then they safely arrived. After that, as usual we do the opening. We do the preparation before start the businesses. After finishing, Sir Aman gave me the same work same as yesterday which is backup crew position but he told me to prepare the different meal such as zinger burger and toasted twister. Sir Aman told me that I should prepare all kind of meal when we get order from the customer. Before I prepare the meal Sir Aman briefing me simply about how to make this meal. There are some step to prepare zinger bunger. First apply margarine on the 2 burger buns then put on the pan, after finishing grill the buns, put in the burger box then put the salad on the bun and put the mayonnaise on salad then put a slice of chicken chest followed by cheese sauce and put the other one buger buns on top then done to served. For the toasted twister we do the same step as the zinger burger but chicken chest we put the cut chicken chest on tortilla then just roll it. Lastly put the toasted twister on the pan to grill and done to served.

Today it was be 9th day I was here. As usual I came to Azmi fried chicken at 11.20 a.m to do an opening with other staff. For the opening I do a bit different today such as fill the mayonnaise sauce, cheese sauce, chilli sauce and tomato sauce in the bottle also I pour soup, black paper sauce and chicken porridge in the cube to easy the backup crew work's. After we are finishing all the work I went to manager room to ask him what I should do today like what kind of work that should I do. Sir Aman was assigned me to be a cashier today. First he teach me how to use and manage cash machine such as how to check order details , how to check sales summary, how to reprint receipt and how to check daily income. Secondly he teach me how to read a receipt when I got order from the customer but he told me to give a big smile even in not in good mood. He told me to always smile, talk properly, being responsive and treat them nicely. After that I should finish all an order from customer throught the receipt. As example, customer order french fries and 5 pieces chicken, I will pack french fries in the box fries and put the chicken in the paper prepared for chicken only. Lastly I put all the order in the plastic Azmi fried chicken and then the order are complete. I think being a cashier was the best thing ever here because I can communicate with customer and I happy when look customer satisfaction.

On 20th July 2019 it was be a last day for Siep. As you know I came at Azmi Fried Chicken at 11.20 a.m. I and the other staff will do an opening like preparation before start the business. Manager ask me to do a little bit different work today. He told me for morning untill night I just help other staff to do work and my work is do a closing before we were close the business. He briefing me shortly about the closing. There are some scope work for closing. First is clean and tidy all the stuff used on carbinet at kitchen and backup area. Second is sweep on the floor and moping. Third is wash the water machine and all the backup stuff's like stainless steel tong, slice ​​boards, chicken containers, sauce bottles and others. Lastly I was assigned to wash the toilet and I also need to clean and tidy the playground area such as pick up the toys in the basket, sweep on the floor and moping. After I finishing the closing, Sir Aman want to meet me and he ask me to do a part time work at Azmi Fried Chicken. I'm proud to hear that and I accept that with the joy and smile. Thank you so much to manager and other staff because of treat me kindly and teach me nicely. I'm feel grateful meet with them.
