I think of people going to the back of retail stores and going inside their dumpsters and finding all the valuables. Also, yes i have grabbed something from the trash when i was younger because my family would fix them/paint them so we could use them.

when i see someone dumpster diving i think that they're trying to find food or cans to try to make money or they're trying to find stuff that store throw away.

What first comes to my mind when I see someone dumpster diving is that they're trying to find something valuable that was possibly thrown out, and yes I have grabbed something out the trash before because I accidentally threw my airpods away and I had to fish them out

The first thing that comes to mind is when someone is dumpster diving is to mind my business. Yes, I have but only because I threw something away on accident.

I think of a homeless person digging in the trash. Ever heard of that one cheapskate that dumpster dives. I find it really weird.

Yeah no eww I don't touch the trash unless im throwing it away. Also I think that there doing that cuz they need to…you know looking for food and cans and things like that

The first thing that comes to my mind when dumpster diving is when you find an item that's meaningful to you that you want to dive in and get. I have never gotten something from the dumpster because it can get dirty and smell.

What comes to mind when I see someone "dumpster diving" is that they must have dropped something in there, I don't usually think much about it though. Yes, I have grabbed something from the trash since I accidentally dropped my ring.

when i see someone dumpster diving i don't think negatively about it because in our current society, tax inflation is really high and many people struggle to keep up financially. food can also become very expensive forcing people to beg for it or even dumpster dive as a means for survival. we wouldn't know what someone is going through unless we step into their shoes and really understand their situation.
