         <title>1. The rescue line is attached to an accessory line, which is attached to the waist belt. Other end of the accessory line and carabiner are attached in front of the shoulder with a velcro strap. Accessory line detaches from the shoulder when pulled and the pull will be from the waist belt.</title>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>In difficult situation where a skater is in distress and is not able to help himself anyway , the most important thing is correct direction of the pull. The correct direction of the pull depends of the length of the rescue line and its attachment to the person in distress. In these cases the attachment of the rescue line must be higher up from the waist belt. Very long rescue line need to shortened if it is safe to go closer to the person in distress. Important thing is also the quality of the backback  - that it doesn't break unexpectedly. </div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>Although rescue line is attached to the shoulder strap of the backback the rescue fails. With a long line the force of the pull is nearly paraller to the ice surface and the pull forces the person against the edge of the ice and his legs may even bend under the ice.&nbsp; Immediately when pull is directed more upward ( pulling person closer, shorter rope ) rescue is completed easily.</div>]]></description>

Instead, when pulled the rescue line runs freely throught the carabiner and the force of pull is directed to the waist belt.
