I suggest we invite local army officers in to talk about what it is like being at war and why there are many people travelling in hope of new beginnings, refuge and mercy.

We are also looking at Save a Life visitor in response to hope and health.

Another idea would be to invite police, ambulance and fire brigade in all on different days to discuss their part in the community.

This also covers the aspect of learning from our community as stated in the Jubilee.

P5 will be working on learning about different countries and their history in the final term. We can make links to the jubilee year in this.
