It was my birthday and I wanted to do something fun. At the time I hadn't had or been to a sleepover in so long. I wanted to have fun and have my friends over. I had a sleepover. I planned everything out. It was going to be perfected. Well.. it wasn't perfected, but we had fun. It was Friday so they would be able to stay over with no worry. For dinner we made pizza. That was fun. One of my friends who had stayed over had to leave in the morning to go to another girls' party. My other friend had a little bit for her band class so she had to be gone for a while. I was by myself for a while. I was kinda boring. Dinner had made up for it though. The friend who had the band thing came with us to dinner. The food was great and I had fun. Then the cake came out and it was delicious. The thing that made me cry tears of happiness was what my friend did. She had written down 15 things that she loved about me. That made my night. I had the best birthday party.

Golden Gate Bridge- April

My grandma, sisters, and I took a little spring break vacation. We went to Morro Bay for the first day. When we first arrived, we were looking for a place to sleep. After driving around for a bit we found a little place called "The Inn at Morro Bay." It was a nice inn. The rooms were so beautiful. We unloaded most of our luggage and went on a little drive to look around the city. After our drive, we went to eat dinner at the inn. We got a table next to one of the big windows in the restaurant. As we were eating the sun was going down and it was the most beautiful view. We paid for our food and then went up to our rooms. Tonight I was going to share the bed with my grandma. I was watching a little TV. I took a picture before I went to bed. I tried

to take a photo every time I went to bed in the different hotels but that didn't work out. In the morning we packed up anything that we took out and put it back in the car. We drove to a Taco Bell to get breakfast and then returned to the road. We were going to San Fransico next. It was a 3h and 59m ride. When we were diving to San Fran I was taking a bunch of photos on my older sister's camera that she let me use. (For the whole trip) When we got to San Fransisco we were driving around looking for our hotel. Hilton San Francisco Financial District. The hotel was in Chinatown. It was nice. After we checked in we went to look around the city to look for somewhere to eat dinner. After dinner, we went back to the hotel, but we got bored and went on a night drive to look at the night lights. The next day we went to San Francisco National Cemetery. That was what my older sister wanted to see. Then we went on the Golden Gate Bridge. I was taking pictures out of the window as we were diving across the bridge. That was pretty scary, but fun. I love the bridge now. This was my favorite part of the little vacation. I hope I get to go back this year. I would like to take more photos.

Panther Camp-June

I went to Panther camp for my credit, and to get to know the campus. That month drained me but it was worth it. The first days were okay. Then it went by fast. There was this girl who was sitting at the same table I was. The days had passed and she stayed there with me at the table and we got to know one another. Her name was Ariel but wanted to be called by her middle name. Cheyenne. Cheyenne and I became friends. She had gone to Siomes. The old middle school that I went to. She was the only one in her friend group that had come to DR. I was her only friend. As of then. She had been getting me through this camp. We were having fun. She is the only friend I've made at DR, so I'm grateful for her.

Promotion-May

The promotion was a sad and happy day for me. I had been scared for the whole week. I had been getting my yearbook signed by all my teachers. The day before my promotion I got my hair done. I went to the hair salon after school. I was preparing everything for the next day. I was up a little late that night because of how nervous I was. That night I had to sleep on the side of my face because I didn't want to mess up my hair. I got up early that morning. I was really nervous. I didn't want to go to high school. Time just seems to go so fast now. I got to the school and all the other classmates started to show up. I was sitting with one of my friends. I wanted to distract myself, so I started to watch South Park on my phone. Thinking about it now it's kind of funny. That's what calmed me down? We waited for a hot minute. We were waiting for all the other kids to show up before we started. The bell rang for all the other students to get to class. After that, I think we waited another half hour. Then the time came to line up and start to walk in the gym. We walked in the gym row by row. We sat as we all saw our family members take photos of us. The names started to be called to the stage. Then it ended. All the months of stress were for something. After the promotion, we went to MeMe's Cafe and had breakfast. Then that was it. I was a little sad after that day, but I had fun.
