so, my mock exams are in a week. one week. i may be on the verge of yet another breakdown, but that’s not uncommon for students.
instead of going to visit my family who’re moving away, i’m spending today copying our statistics about gender inequalities and writing five page essays on a street car named desire.
due to the fact that teachers use this, probably more so than students i won’t be giving any personal details away incase one of my own teachers finds this and reads it. not that any of them would be particularly interested in my rants, they’ve got better things to do. like set essay homework a month late, or remind my class why we’re all destined for failure. luckily i already knew that, take that mr *** (see, not giving anything away! )
i know that sounds depressing, no one is destined for failure and all that nonesense. but really, some of us must be. i mean, we can’t all succeed or our world wouldn’t be the fragile mess it is right now. so who’s to say i won’t end up living in my parents house until i’m old?
i do want to go to medical school, perhaps become a psychiatrist. but i’m not a straight a student, i’m a strong straight b student with a few occasional a’s tossed in there. but that’s not good enough for medical school. even straight a students aren’t guaranteed a place, you’ve got to have every extra curricular possible along with the perfect grades and amazing attendance.
so i guess i’ll be depending on clearing and praying i get a uni spot.
well, wish me luck.
