I am very excited to be in this class. I am taking this class because I am in the LT program. This is my second semester at DVC, but my first semester taking LT classes. I was motivated to join this program because I love books. I love to read, and a few years ago, I was a Volunteer at the Walnut Creek Library and that's when I decided to be part of this amazing environment. I grew up in Mexico and then I got married. After that, we moved to the States. I have two kids, a 18 years old boy that is in college too, and my beautiful 12 years old girl that is in 7th grade. I have lived in Walnut Creek for the past 7 years, but I have been in California for almost 19 years. So now, I am so thrilled and nervous at the same time to start this new experience that I want to share with all of you.
