The Triangular Trade started by the 13 colonies getting raw materials, and shipping them over to Britain. Then Britain made goods out of the materials like guns and cloth. After that Britain gave the resources to Africa and African Dealers captured Africans and gave them to Britain. Then the slaves were put on slave ships and crossed the middle passage. The middle passage was a passage that slave ships took to get from Africa to the West Indies. From there the slaves were auctioned and then sent to go work on plantations. Below i have a picture of the Triangular trade

The French And Indian war started because the French And British claimed the same territory and started trading with the Native Americans. The territory was known as the Ohio River Valley. The French started to get very angry with the British because the British started to trade with the Native Americans. The war started when George Washington and a bunch of soldiers went to kick the French out of western Pennsylvania. When the war started many of theIndians fought with the French because They were nicer to the Indians. Since the British were losing the war they decided to step things up and bring the all around the war and send in thousands of troops to take over Frances territory. In the end the British won the war and gained all of Frances land, but were in debt from the war. Below is a picture of the land that the British got from the war.

The Stamp act was an act that the British Parliament passed that put a tax on all paper goods. Colonist hated this act, so they formed secret societies like the Sons of Liberty which threatened tax collectors. Also colonist boycotted British goods. This act led to the American Revolution. Another act that led to the American Revolution was the Quartering Act. This act required colonist to feed, help, and provide shelter for British Soldiers. The colonist again did not like this law/act so they decided not to house the soldiers. This act was repelled. One last act that led to the American Revolution was the Intolerable Act. This act gave Britain more power/control over the colonist of Massachusetts . The British did this because they were angry from the Boston Tea Party.
The other colonies supported Massachusetts and the colonist started the First Continental Congress. Below is a picture of The Sons Of Liberty humiliating a tax collector.

The strengths of Americans during the war were that the people had so much hope and never gave up. A second strength was that the French helped supply the Americans. A third strength was that George Washington was a really good leader. Some weaknesses that the Americans faced during the war were that they were very low on troops. Second there weren't many Americans trained for battle while the British were highly trained. Lastly, there was not nearly enough resources to go around. Below is a picture of the Americans And British fighting in the war.

The Battle of Bunker Hill took place on June 17, 1775. The American held off two of three attacks from the British, but then had to retreat. The result of the battle was that more colonist joined the battle and a lot of British soldiers died. The battle of Saratoga happened on September 19, 1777 and happened on a farm. The British won the battle, but suffered major loses. This battle also boosted the Americans hopes of winning. Another battle was the battle of Yorktown. This battle happened on October 19, 1781 and was the end of the war. The Americans won by outnumbering the British and making them surrender. Below is a picture of the Americans and French surrounding the British during the battle of Yorktown.

Why was George Washington such a good leader? (event of choice)

One reason why George Washington was such a good leader was because he could always keep his soldiers hopes up. Another reason is that he had to basically fight against the British army with a bunch of poorly trained colonist, but he won. One final reason why George Washington was a good leader was because he never gave up no matter how many loses he had to put up with. Below is a picture of George Washington
