These examples shown represent the ways we have interfaced with the virtual world using physical devices this is called a user interface by which the user (you) controls these devices but this is only one half of the meaning of interface within gaming such as software interface in which it contains things like the languages and code that is used to communicate with other applications and more than that the hardware. The technology that is used in the world will become more prominent in the technology age as these application and tech can be used in the use of medical science.

Camera setting and positioning is a very important part of a game as most games will have no need of positioning of a camera as they cameras are usually left to follow the character while the movement is left to the player and while controlling the camera it will usually have a neutral position to default a full coverage of the character but in games such as resident evil it has fixed points where the camera is and when your character walks into them it will switch to that view and you will be able to see that section that your character has walked to but the fault of this design is that it can be very disorienting for the player because the player will not always know which way the camera is going to be facing therefore it might change controls while switching.
