I learned some captains slept with the crew. Pirates would do a lot of work to keep the ship maintained and they would do target practice. Most water would be contaminated because the men drunk straight out of it.

I learened that when pirates came across merchant withs animals they would kill them for meat. Any water pirates would drink came from wooden barrles that they would dip their cups in the water, the water didn't last for long.Some captians would have a small room for themself other pirates would sleep were they could find room. Pirates had target practice and they had to maintain their weapons for battle.

I learned that pirates drink lots of rum and beer. I also learnt that the crew had to sleep altogether and the captain sometimes got his own room or he just slept with crew. They can only get light from candle or lanterns. They also don't clean their clothes or brush their teeth a lot. Pirates don't get much privacy going to the toilet. When they have spare time they read each other stories when they are feeling down, they also blow a lot smoke rings and sing song to each other.

I learned that a pirates life was very unsanitary and disgusting their toilets were on the bow of the deck with zero privacy. Some captains slept with the crew where as some had their own privet room. They also had to maintain their weapons for battle like sharpening knives and oiling guns.

I learned that pirate’s slept in hammock. Pirate did not no how to swim so they tried not to get in the water. Water was a problem for them because the water was stored in barrels. Pirate would get sea sick.

After watching the video I learnt, pirates had horrible hygiene! Vomiting on deck and letting it wash down to the hull. After many days at sea, the hull has a disgusting stench, that all the pirates have to deal with. The water they had to drink was not pleasant whatsoever! The water was stored in wooden barrels, all the pirates on deck reached far in to scoop the water out, leaving germs on the way!

The bathroom was even WORSE, mostly because they didn't have bathrooms! Some ships did, but even then you wouldn't want to use them any more than the over deck method... If you know what I mean.

After watching the video I realized that pirates were actually quite busy. They would scrub the deck, sharpen their knives and rub oil on there guns and much more. When they were off board they would stock up on food and drinks. oh, speaking of drinks they would drink whine,beer and rum. When they at e there were ants on there food and before eating the pirates had to pick them off. It was REALLY gross! But they definitely had a busy life.

After watching the video I learnt, that pirates had a hole for going to the toilet! It must have been horrible especially when they would have to through it out.but lucky the captain might have had one for himself! just imagine the whole class using one toilet,

After watching this video I found it very interesting how pirates made biscuits out of water, flour, and salt. They would dip the biscuits in there soup.

On the ship pirates would have to got to the bathroom at the very front of the boat because the the wind comes from behind the boat.

when it was time to sleep pirates would just

sleep anywhere they could find. The Captin would sometimes get there own room for privacy.

Sharks used to surround the ships because of all the wastage and this would attract the little fish that the sharks eat.

I was surprised that pirates would scrub the decks and mend the sails. I learned that they would a biscuit made out of flour salt and water and they would last a very long time . Pirate use to use this biscuit to made desert to thicken soup or dip in their drinks.Anther thing I found interesting was that they would go to the toilet off the edge of the ship.Not all pirates knew how to swim which surprised me and they also were scared of sharks.

When I was watching the video I learned that pirates either slept in hammocks or on the ground but if the captain was lucky he would have his own little room with more privacy, since the pirates had no hygiene products the room would smell like rotten fish. Pirates don't usually drink water they would mostly drink rum or grog. The pirates only ate fish, ships biscuit or sour crowd ships biscuit was made of flour salt and water which made them very hard so they would dip it in tea of soup to soften it.

I learned that pirates work pretty hard like scrubbing the deck.Pirates live in small rooms with the other pirates. The captain sometimes gets a room to himself. When the pirates need to go to the toilet at the very front of the boat because the winds comes from behind them.

Pirates normally had to pick bugs of there food before eating them.Pirates would though all of the rubbish of the boat and into the sea witch would attract little fish that sharks eat. The weapons that the pirates use always needed sharped. Pirates did not smell good back then they didn't have deodorant.

something that I learned in this video the captain normally had his own so he wouldn't

get to hot from body heat and some more.

For entertainment they would gamble and

smoke pipes. the sailors never would dare to

go in the water because there was a lot of sharks.there was a lot of sharks because

the pirates would often vomit over board witch would case the fish to come witch would cause the sharks to come.

I learnt that pirates have no personal hygiene and they don't shower and brush their teeth!!! I also learnt that in most ships the captain has his own room its nothing fancy he just has a bit more privacy pirates also do their business in a hole in the back of the ship pirates either sleep in hammocks or on the ground pirates had very low water supply so it was only used for fire and drinking

sharks surrounded their ships because of the dump that got thrown into the water that would attract the fish pirates did training and aiming practice so they could get their enemy's without getting hurt!!

After watching the video I learnt that the pirates eat biscuits but not any biscuits, bescits made from flower, water, and salt. The pirates sometimes diped there biscuits in soup, because the biscuts were so crumbly. All day the pirates were scrubbing the decks and fixing the sails. The sailers could not swim, and were scared of the sharks. They went toilet on the front of the boat. The sailer had to sleep eny were thay could find and some sailers could sleep on some hamics, on top of the booms.

I learnt that Pirates do not actually Use the word argh or other Pirate words.

Also if Pirates could not fit in the sleep place they had to find another place.

Pirates did a descent amount of work on the ship.

All the pirates usually shear a room but sometimes the captain gets a room to himself.

When Pirates use there tools they need to make sure it is sharp.

Pirates have no hygiene the are destructing.

Pirates had target practice mostly with pistols to practice there aim.

I learnt that pirates had these cookies that were very hard and they were only made out of flower,water and salt. You had to dip them in coffee or a pot of boiling water for them to soften. I also can't believe that the pirates had to sleep all together and the captain gets his OWN room with privacy.Also I would feel bad for them that they had no fresh cold air just the boiling hot sun ,and also that they had animals such as chickens or cows.
