Every employee watches out for the well being of each child and their family. We hold high expectations for each child. Staff at Avery realize that a child's education extends beyond the school day. Staff give up personal time to better the Avery school community.

Use of common language when talking with or interacting with the kids

This will help the students to utilize good study habits throughout their entire life. Common language helps to redirect in all different types of things in the classroom. The 7 habits encourage the kids to stop and think about everything going on in their lives, and then prioritize. It encourages healthy universal habits to avoid stress, encourage individual interest and accountability i.e., sharpen the saw encourages self-care. These are not just school skills, they are life skills. Kids who develop the habits now can use them in their careers.
