In this short film " Anti- Racist " we have more than one perpetrator its actually a whole family and Tzafar the man sitting next to the family and minding his own business, plays the role of a victim in a racist act. The family for some weird reason doesn't want anything to do with Tzafar they don't even want to sit next to him, my guess is that it has something to do with his race. I bet the family regretted doing this to the man because before they knew it he, Tzafar was actually a organ donor and Tzafar being a victim of racism and also knowing that the family was trying to avoid him. He was still nice enough to donate his organ to the little girl who is part of the family that tried avoiding him.

In this second short film " RACISM KILLS " we can clearly tell that even though it is very short it still has a lot of meaning to it. We first are introduced to a girl walking and then see a African american man who is walking on the same side walk as her but is right behind her you would probably think that the lady is the victim and the man is the perpetrator but actually the roles are switched the African american man is actually the victim in the racism act and the lady is the perpetrator. The lady right away assuming that she was going to be robbed by the man just because of his race is where she was in the wrong. Not even knowing the man she right away assumed that he was trouble and was ready to call 911, the man not even trying rob her instead saves her life . Racism really does kill She was to distracted on being ready to call 911 that she didn't realize that the man instead of robbing her saves her.

The overall topic of this poem "Song of the Shirt" by Tomas Hood is both poverty and racism, the main character who is a girl talks about her life as a slave and how she lives in poverty but in a form of a song. While singing she says that " But human creatures lives stitch-stitch-stitch, in poverty, hunger and dirt." What the girl or the author is trying to say is that her life is a mess how all of these things is what she has to go through how she is poor, has no food, sleeps on dirt and has to live her life as a slave.

In the picture book " The name Jar " by Yangsook Choi, the stereotype of how all Asian or Chinese or Japanese speak a certain way seems to be challenged because in the book we are introduced to the main character Unhei who is the victim in the racist act. She is a very shy and nervous which is understandable because she just moved to a new country and transferred to a new school. She response to this by being creative and letting the students in her class choose her name by letting them right it down on a paper and putting it in a jar for her to choose because she is to embarrass to tell them her real name.

I was inspired by the book " Sing down the Moon " by Scott O'Dell because it is informing us about how the natives were treated because of their race, how the whites would watch these natives get taken away and be kept as slaves, this was interesting to know because no-one did nothing even when they knew it was going on what the author also did is right this from the perspective from a native girl who was a victim in the racist act.

In the picture book " Freedom on the menu " by Carole Boston it is not really stereotyping any race but does talk about a certain race and the rights of the race. We have the main character Connie who is part of the race that is being affected by this which is African american, she lives in a small town where " There are sign all through town telling eight-year-old Connie where she could and could not go." She is very courageous and fearless she takes a stand and decide's to make a sign for equality. What the author is trying to say is that it is never to late to take a stand.

In the poem " Sister of Charity " by Marilyn Nelson the main topic is racism the poem seems to be talking about a certain race which is the Irish. The poem says how " More Irish seem to arrive here every day, like rats fleeing a ship that going down. Their women troll our streets for men at night, their children run wild all day in the shanty-town. " The main target or race is Irish and what the author is trying to say about the race, is that there are more and more of them coming and the author tries to connect this to rats fleeing.

The article " Why sports history is American History " written by Mark Naison the type of people that are being targeted is immigrants and how sports improved their lives. The article says that " These athletes set an example for people all the way down to the neighborhood level. For many American-born children of immigrants, following sports was a way to become more fully American. Many of these kids also saw sports as a way to open up opportunities for economic and educational success. " What the author is trying to say is that sports has let these immigrants see a new way in life and has changed it for the better.

The article "Roll of Thunder, Hear My Cry " the main race that is being targeted is African american. " The text is set during the years of the Great Depression, a time of widespread poverty. It tells the story of the Logan family through the eyes of 9-year-old Cassie Logan. The Logan's are one of the rare black families who own their own land and must work doubly hard to make their tax and mortgage payments on that land. " A white man who goes by the name Mr. Granger wanted their land and did everything he can to ruin their life because he wanted to take what they had and make them live in poverty and he does this because they are African american and feels they should not be able to own land.
