* The positive(+), negative(-)  sides of the battery,metal tip and metal casing are crucial parts of a simple experiment of electrical circuits that have to be connected with the wires.

(2)The filament that is made of tungsten(a metal that conducts heat well without melting easily) actually lights up because of the heat from the  electricity(I didn't know that!)

(3) I finally understand how the light switches actually work ~ On: The electricity will be able to flow smoothly that enables the whole circuit to work( ~  ~Off: The electricity will not be able to flow throughout the circuit that means the whole circuit  "experiment"( I don't know what you call it)will not work ~

The glass bulb has no air in it so that it can protect the filament which is made of a material called tungsten.

It is important to have a closed circuit if you want to light up a bulb in a simple set-up which includes a battery, two wires and a light bulb.

Last but not least, I learnt that there are chemicals in the battery.( no wonder that day a battery spoilt and leaked some brownish stuff out)
