Background to the interviews：

The victim Joel Arnheim is one of the three owners of a Large enterprise who spend a day rest in his own luxury holiday resort with his wife and two business partners.At 10:15 PM victim was been founded by Alberto Rossi, and it still dying.According to all the suspects’ testimony their claim that victim saying he had a headache and went to bedroom at 9:15 PM.Basis of the field investigation, the evident show that murdered had been stabbed in his bed, the knife still in his chest.The murder weapon which kill the victim was an unwashed chopping knife, and only Pedro’s fingerprints were found on it.

 

Summary of interviews：

There were four suspects in this case, and we have given some results by asking questions. Here are the summary of the statements of the four suspects.

Pedro(the butler and chef): she basically stated that she had been washing dishes in the kitchen after 9:30 ,and had not been going anywhere.While, there is no one could prove it. About 10:00 she heard Joel's wife screaming, then she got to Joel's room and saw that Joel was dead.

Alberto Rossi(Joel's business partner): he claimed that he wanted to get back to his room after having eaten together with other people. At about 10:15, after hearing a loud noise, he rushed out of his room and saw the knife on the ground, and Joel was dead.

Nigel Palmer (Joel 's business partner) : he described that he stayed in the Lounge and dining room  during the period of the crime.Also,he saw pedro was washing the dishes, but could not remember the time.At the same time, He noticed that Joel's wife first came out the Joel's room to get the medicine, then returned to the room.

Gillian Arnheim(Joel’s wife):she claimed that she always stayed with others in the lounge except Pedro went to wash the dishes and came back about 09:45 PM, At 10:00 PM, she left room and see how Joel was, 5 mins later came back to the lounge and told everyone Joel was fine.

 

Police findings and conclusions：

After an investigation, we found that Pedro has no one to prove that she had been washing dishes during the period of the crime as well as that she is the most likely to have access to the knife. Also,it's unusual for Plamer to stay in the lounge after dinner. Because everyone has something to do in this time except for him, so there's a good chance for them working together to kill the Joel.In addition, we also found out that Joel's wife had a closed relationship with Alberto Rossi, therefore it is possible for them to murder Joel.
