Mother played with Kate,

Jack needed burping,

 

So Nora came to help.

First she put Jack on her shoulder, 

 Then she patted Jack on his back,

Then she gently crooned a lullaby.

 

“Thanks,sweet ,” said her father,

“Good girl,” said her mother,

“Nice going!” said her sister,

“How lucky we are to have a little helper like you!”

 

Jack was very filthy,

Father cooked with Kate,

Jack needed drying off,

So Nora came to help.

 

First she went to the tub and turned on the faucet, 

Then she put some toys into the tub,

Then she assisted mother to get Jack bathed,

 

“Thanks,sweet” said her father,

“Good girl,” said her mother,

“Nice going!” said her sister,

“How lucky we are to have a little helper like you!”

Jack was getting sleepy,

Father red with Kate,

 

Jack needed singing to,

So Nora came to help.

 

“Hush,little baby,don’t say a word” sang Nora,

“Mama’s gonna buy you a mockingbird!”together sang  Mother

And together,they sang  Jack to sleep.

 

Father finished his reading to Kate,

Mother and Nora finished their song.

“Good night!” said her sister,

“Nora is such a little helper in our family.”

 

Nora in the kitchen,

Nora in the tub.

Nora in the bedroom

And Nora is everywhere needed.

 

“She is such a little helper!We love Nora so deep!” said her mother,father and sister

As they kissed Nora on her face.

 

“I love you all!Good night!” said Nora

With a sweet smile on her face.
