Hi, just a thought after today’s meeting - maybe a ‘film night’ could make it a valentine theme if needing to raise money sooner rather than later. Use the school projector for the film in the school hall and hand out popcorn and drinks? £5 per ticket?

Also, maybe wash all of our lost property and sale at the end of each term £1 per item?

I have a few ideas. I hosted a Carnival themed event in our community with lots of fun games, mask designing, treasure hunt etc. Could do a Carnival event at the school around pancake day? It was very popular with the children. Games included things like ring toss, bean bag toss, nerf gun shoot, ping pong in the cup, basketball shoot and more. We could even do things like hook a duck etc.

Second idea is to do a colour run, inspired by the Holi festival. Holi is in March next year I think but they did this at our previous school in summer and it was brilliant. There was a small entry fee and children also raised funds by running, and the spectators threw non toxic coloured powder at them, they loved it.

Third, it would be cool to do a 'Bring Your Culture to School Day' for the international day of cultural diversity in May. Sea Mills is a very culturally diverse school and children with UK heritage could celebrate that too. This could involve wearing traditional or themed clothes, bringing food, music or crafts, or stories to share.
