Through out the nature walk we had during our science class, I have notice Tulips in some people's gardens, and I was very intrigued and curious to find out, it's adaptation to this world. I searched and I found out that, Tulips have this waxy, somewhat stiff petals of tulips, in which are good protection from cold, drying winds for the stamens and pistils. And it is a structural adaptation.

This is a mixture of a behavioural and structural adaptations. It grows thorns to prevent it from being picked, or eaten and it also contains a poison that can cause itching, rashes etc.

While walking around the neighbourhood, I was able to find a large bee and take a picture of it. This picture of the bee allowed me to witness both a structural and behavioural adaption. The structural adaptation is the bees yellow strips. These strips protect the bee from predators. The behavioural adaptation is the bee eating nectar. It depends on the flowers for its survival.
