Hanna and I joined with another group to discuss each of our ideas. We didn't show them any of the video (which I was pretty relieved about XD) but we got to interview them and be interviewed about the project. They seemed really interested in our idea and keen to see what it will look like so yayyy. They also said that they aren't planning on finishing their creative work since we aren't being marked on that part and instead want to make sure there's enough of the idea there and then focusing more on the rationale and powerpoint (check Keith's latest email for deets on that stuff). We thought this was a pretty good idea.

I've been editing the clips sent to me so far by Max and Hanna but it's still very short. I am thinking it's going to look really good with music and once it's a bit longer. As I was researching I came across an interview with Mojo Juju where she talks about her story behind the song Native Tongue and thought it might be good to use some of that in the video. I took the audio file from the video so I could edit what she was saying over the clips to give them more of a context sort of... I'm going to find a way to share what I've done so far with you guys so you can tell me whether you agree with it or if it's straying away from what you guys kind of pictured? I want to make sure you guys have as much involvement in the editing process as possible so it's got all our ideas in it and we can really say it was collaborative when all is said and done. If the way I've done something isn't up to par with what everybody was thinking please let me know :)
