Then when the main character got home from sixth grade she saw the goldfish laying upside down in the fishbowl. Then her mom came up and said that did not last long. Then the main character said ''what do you mean that fish lasted 5 years''. Then her mom told her the truth about the first goldfish. her mom said the original goldfish lasted two weeks. Then she said after that one died she kept on buying more fish through the years. then she told her that that was the fourteenth goldfish. This book was really good i would recommend you read the Fourteenth goldfish.
