We buried my mother in a boat with all her fine jewelry and one of our slaves sacrificed themselves and went with her. My mother was a very independent and hardworking woman. She divorced my father and she inherited property from her father. Even though my parents divorced my dad still cared deeply for my mom. He made a big feast with fish and different breads and a variety of sauces. My dad is a pretty good cook because since he's traveled to many places he discovered many different recipes and ingredients. My dad leaves today in his longboat to go trade with other countries. Now im left alone and I have to take care of the farm and the animals.

Before I left I made sure to use the "Special" soap so my hair could get lighter. Its funny how some people think we are all nasty and smelly. Me and my family are very clean. We make sure our hair is nice and combed and we bathe about once a week. While walking up the mountain to skii we passed by a "berserker". Berserkers are known to be the scariest and most terrifying people ever.
