We might think he is in jail and he dreams of getting out.
His face seems empty of emotion. This is a Black man, maybe a victim of injustice. 
We can suppose that this man has to try and fight against inequality and racism. 
This picture makes me feeling sad because it can denounce racism and because it isn't normal to hurt someone who isn't supposed to go in jail. 
His face without emotion makes me think that jail breaks everyone and destroys people. 
"Through this prison bars there is freedom but this freedom doesn't belong to them so they must keep hope".

I chose this photo first because the work is not made of painting like the others but also because I like the message behind it. It is a sentence saying "the secret of happiness is .." and the rest is erased, I see it as a way of denouncing people who claim to "know how to be happy" but in reality there are no secrets or things that must be done to be happy.
