         <description><![CDATA[<div>MCC4.MD.5 Recognize angles as geometric shapes that are formed wherever two rays share a<br>common endpoint, and understand concepts of angle measurement:<br><br>a. An angle is measured with reference to a circle with its center at the common endpoint of the rays, by considering the fraction of the circular arc between the points where the two rays intersect the circle. An angle that turns through 1/360 of a circle is called a one-degree angle,” and can be used to measure angles.<br><br>b. An angle that turns through n one-degree angles is said to have an angle measure of n degrees.<br><br>Please check out website below for more help.<br><br></div>]]></description>

(Asking and Answering Questions, Inferring, Making Connections)&nbsp; Asking and answering questions was taught in third grade. Inferencing is new.<br><br>Essential questions: How do I support myself when explaining a text?&nbsp; How do I make good inferences while I read? How do I support my inferences about a text?&nbsp; How does asking questions help me stay engaged in reading a literary text?<br><br><br>ELAGSE4RL2: Determine a theme of a story, drama, or poem from details in the text; summarize the text. (Summarizing) Summarizing is new.&nbsp; Students had to determine a moral or a lesson in third grade, but theme is new.<br><br>Essential Questions: How do I determine the theme of a story, drama, or prose?&nbsp; What does a good summary include?<br><br><br><br></div>]]></description>
