1. What subject are you interested in and why?

I am interested in literary analysis because of the intricate details in literature.

2. What specific topic are you interested and why?

I'm interested in analysing translated texts especially speeches, looking at the specific components on how language affects people.

3. Provide details for subtopics: How? Why? Where? When?

I will most likely pick speeches that are translated from German into English. I will then proceed to analyse both the english text and the German translation to deduct whether or not it retains the meaning or not.

4. How will you collect primary research? What methodology are you considering?

I am considering utilising recorded accounts of speeches made by dictators. I am thinking of using JSTOR and other scholarly sources and analysing both the original text and the interpretations by other translators.

5. What is your initial research question are you beginning with?

How does the context affect the language used in speeches?
