    The piece was filmed on a Kodak 35 mm camera and an ARRI Alexa 6K for the digtial opening scene.     From the initial press release in December of 2014 to the last release date in Asia, their marketing campaign for Spectre was extensive. 

    In order to make it as effective as possible they used a combination of old and new media's and third party tie ins, which was clearly demonstrated through their deal with Aston Martin to create the infamous Bond car, the DB10 and their £64 million deal with Heinken.

    Here is a list of other marketing strategies they used via 'old media':

    - Posters (which aided greatly in creating the brand identity of the film through 
      the colour composition: black and white)

    - Magazine articles; especially car ones, where in which they promoted the film
      through the DB10

    - Through television adverts showcasing the trailer and adverts associated with 
      another brand, for example the Vodka brand Belvedere

    Here is a list of other marketing strategies they used via 'new media':

    -They created official 'James Bond' pages on Facebook, Twitter, Instagram and 
      Google+ where in which you coufld access exclusive content in multiple 
      languages 

    - They played on the viral trends, with them promoting the hashtags:    
      #FridayFeeling and #MondayMotivation 

    - Plus they put out constant posts about previous James Bond films to

    What do Austria, Mexico City, Morocco, London, and Rome have in common? In Spectre, they are not only the locations James Bond travels to, but they were all shot on 35mm Kodak film. 
     
    Planes with snowmobiles: You might not notice one of the movie’s coolest high-tech twists – and that’s exactly what the film-makers are hoping for. During one of the splashiest scenes in “SPECTRE,” Bond has to steer an air plane that’s crashing down a mountainside. To get the exterior shots, several air plane fuselages were outfitted with hidden snowmobiles and driven down the slope as the cameras rolled. Totally safe, right? It doesn't look that way in the movie, as you can see toward the end of this video clip:
