• Hue had witnessed a dramatic precipitation and extreme weather conditionS before the government decided to open the floodgate

-this flood- brought me a sense of terrible - cut off for one week → no devices to preserved food especially meat and fish 

• Mom used her culinary skill- to cook all of them with lots of salt --> used for long time.

-day 3, did not prepared carefully →lack of food - father bought goods with high cost

unfortunately, my house showed signs of water seepage →My family had to live for 5 days in a moldy environment.

Impression :

Recalling my initial encounter with this phenomenon: happening at midnight, authority noticed a devastating typhoon, urgent to evacuate -> felt the tension.

Main idea :

During the flood: - pouring rain  

-       Everything in my house became chaos

Family : struggling to cope with the extensive, reach some of the worst-hit areas.

Government : supply food, medical.

After : stabilized living conditions; Volunteers : support the recovery process; lost electricity, can’t go to school

Explaination : lost electricity, can’t go to school, raise dwellers’ awarness of future challenges; be essential to have emergency plan

T: 2 years ago/ new house-> new kid on a block -> not experienced this before-> not well-prepared.

I: while watching tv/ announcement/ heavy rain might lead to flood-> a sense of woring

M: took 1 day to reach 1m height in my area-> moving by boat. During the flood/ lack of electricity, internet, out of battery phone-> difficult to connect. After flood, car broken, 2d cleaning house
